About Tathir

إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا
“Allah only wishes to remove impurity from you, O People of the House, and to purify you a thorough purification.” Qur’an 33:33, Ayat al-Tathir

Tathir began with an uncomfortable observation: every prayer app tells you when to pray, but none is honest with you about the prayers you missed. The missed ones don’t disappear. They wait, as qada, for the day you return to them.

So Tathir keeps an honest record. It asks, never assumes. It counts what is owed without judgment, then helps you pay it down at a pace you choose until the record is clean. That is the meaning of the name.

Free forever, by intention

Tathir has no ads, no subscriptions, and no data harvesting, and that will not change. It is built as a sadaqah jariyah, an ongoing charity. If it helps you pray one prayer on time, or make up one prayer long owed, that is the reward we ask for.

We don’t accept donations. If you want to give something back, remember us, and all who worked on it, in your du’a, and share the app with someone who needs it.
